Get to know me

I was born and raised in Miami to Cuban-Venezuelan parents, and attended the Miami International University of Art and Design where I graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts for graphic design. Upon graduating in 2017 I founded and ran MuttMunch; a natural dog treat and dog product company, where I not only designed the branding and packaging, but lovingly hand made dog treats, paw balms and shampoo bars before pursuing a full time career in graphic design. I have been designing for over a decade and have experience in academia, luxury hospitality, and advertising where I worked on projects for clients including Tobacco Free Florida, McDonald's, State Farm, Lilly, Wells Fargo, PNC, and Amazon to name a few. 

Aside from design and illustration experience, I am also very comfortable with the technical and administrative parts of my career. I am experienced with preparing digital files for trafficking and mechanicals for printed projects. I have also worked with vendors, clients, customers and currently manage a team of 3 designers.

I am passionate about branding, packaging, and stationary design. Whenever possible, I try to incorporate my love of nature, social issues, science, and creativity into my work. My personality and interests can be found peppered throughout my portfolio and I am always looking for the next opportunity to create something fun and whimsical.
